Danson Tomato 112: An aggressive semi-determinate plant with very good cover, for use in staked open field production, an early, main, and late season producer of 300+ gram tomatoes, deep globe shape, excellent balance of acid, sugar, and juiciness, very hard, extended shelf life, tiny blossom end scar, uniform ripening, red color, very uniform for size, and shape, can hold mature tomatoes in stasis on the vine for extended periods. It can produce in the early plantings in California and Baja with a substantial percentage of 3x4, 4x4, 4x5 fruits. It has also shown potential for use in ground culture with drip irrigation. Danson Tomato 145: A vigorous determinate plant with good cover for staked or ground culture in the open field, a main season to late season producer, produces a heavy load of 300+ gram tomatoes from the bottom to the top, the fruit are deep oblate shaped, uniform ripening, a light red color, excellent interior quality with a good balance of acid, sugar, and juiciness, extremely hard texture, excellent shelf life, tiny blossom end scars, jointed, very high percentage of large fruits, tolerant to cracking, plant should be pushed at the early stages with sufficient fertilization and pruning to develop full potential. For Baja use in main season and late season with excellent tolerance to cold and cracking produces a high percentage of 4x4, and 4x5 fruits. Slotted for the first planting in Sinaloa produces a high percentage of 3x4, 4x4, and 4x5 fruits. In the San Joaquin Valley, it has been successful on the ground about 7-10 days later than Shady Lady producing a higher percentage of 4x4 & 4x5 tomatoes than Shady Lady. It is important to note that it has a longer shelf life at 6 color than Shady Lady does at 2 color allowing a larger percentage of the fruit to be harvested in a 30-40% color single pick. Tomato 435 Danson Tomato 435: An Early Short Day Tomato Variety, Danson 435 adds a dynamic new product to the very early planting slot that has transplants going into the field during the short days of winter under cold and cool conditions. 435 is a determinate ESL variety that can produce volume in the very early slot. It is a very firm tomato that is flattened globe. It produces good size. It fits in the same slot as Merced and produces much better fruit quality
